1999 Men's Cross Country Notes

November 23

Sophomore Steve Picucci, an Automotive Service Technology major, was named to the All-GLIAC Academic Team.

October 12

Sophomore Steve Picucci placed 144th with a time of 28:46.9 at the Michigan Intercollegiate Championships, October 8 at Hillsdale.

September 27

Sophomore Steve Picucci was the Bulldogs' top finisher at the Jeff Drenth Invitational at Central Michigan University (Sept. 25), placing 23rd with a time of 29:02.

September 21

The Bulldogs hosted the 8K Ferris Invitational (Sept. 17) but didn't score as a team. Sophomore Steve Picucci was FSU's top finisher with a 57th place showing at 29:37.0.

September 13

The Bulldogs competed in the Sept. 10 Northwood Invitational but didn't score as a team. Sophomore Steve Picucci finished 16th with a time of 22:25.80. Sophomore Owen Jennings was 23rd at 26:36.60.

September 5

The Bulldogs, who last fielded a men's cross team in 1993, had two runners compete in the Saginaw Valley State Invitational on Sept. 3. Steve Pieucci paced FSU with a 42nd place finish in a time of 29:22.11.
