MacIntyre registered a career-high 34 saves in last Saturday's (Dec. 11) 2-1 victory at Miami (Ohio) en route to garnering Perani Cup third star of the game recognition. MacIntyre, who sports a current 2-3-0 mark with a 3.28 goals against average (17 goals allowed) and an .896 saves percentage (146 total saves) in seven contests this campaign, posted a .971 save percentage in Saturday's encounter as the Bulldogs notched their first road victory of the season. MacIntyre's previous game best was a 33-save performance against Ohio State (10/16). The 6-2, 204-pound netminder was an eighth-round draft pick of the San Jose Sharks in the 2004 National Hockey League (NHL) Entry Draft and was selected as the nation's fifth-best incoming frosh goaltender by Inside College Hockey for the 2004-05 season.

Welch recorded a +4 plus/minus rating in last weekend's (Dec. 10-11) two-game set as Ferris notched a tie and win versus the RedHawks. The 6-3, 205-pound defenseman scored his first collegiate goal in Saturday's (Dec. 11) contest while serving as a part of a penalty-killing unit which held Miami to no power-play markers in 10 such opportunities. Welch was +2 in each series' game and tallied a game-tying goal early in the third period. In 15 outings this season, Welch has one point (1-0--1) and with a +6 plus/minus rating.
