Ferris State's Greg Rallo earns CCHA Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season.
Rallo, who also received CCHA Offensive Player of the Week two weeks ago (Nov. 14), led Ferris State offensively this past weekend with three goals and two assists as the Bulldogs swept a non-league two-game series versus the Mercyhurst Lakers in Erie, Pa.

The assistant captain had a goal and an assist in Friday's 6-3 victory over Mercyhurst and then scored twice, including the game winner with 1:43 remaining in the contest, in Saturday's come-from-behind 5-4 triumph. The 5-11, 192-pound forward turned in a plus two efficiency rating in Friday's contest. In Saturday's series finale, Rallo tallied a first-period short-handed goal and assisted on the Bulldogs' game-tying lamplighter.

Through his efforts, Ferris State sports a 7-3-4 overall record this season with a fourth-place 3-1-4 CCHA mark to date. The Bulldogs are presently 5-1-2 in their last eight outings.

Rallo, who's among six Ferris State skaters with double-digit points totals this season, presently has registered a team-leading 19 points on eight goals and 11 assists in 14 contests. He has posted a plus five efficiency rating to go along with four power-play markers, one short-handed goal, and one game-winning tally. Rallo is currently 10 points shy of matching his career season-best of 29 points (15-14--29) set during his freshman year in the 2002-03 campaign.

In 126 career contests, Rallo has amassed 88 points with 37 goals and 51 assists while recording a +14 plus/minus rating. He also has 14 power-play goals, one short-handed marker, and six game-winning lamplighters.

Ferris State, which is ranked 19th nationally by Inside College Hockey this week, returns to Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) play this weekend (Dec. 2 and 4) against the University of Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks in a two-game set at Omaha. Neb. This Friday's (Dec. 2) contest will commence at 8:05 p.m. (EST) while a 3:05 p.m. (EST) opening faceoff is scheduled for Sunday's (Dec. 4) encounter.
