STARTING TIME FOR THIS FRIDAY'S HOCKEY GAME SWITCHED TO 8:05 P.M.
League Contest To Air Live On College Sports Television
The starting time for this Friday's (Oct. 31) Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) game between the Ferris State Bulldogs and Michigan State Spartans has been switched to 8:05 p.m. (EST) from the previous published scheduled 7:05 p.m. (EST) start time.
The encounter will be held at the 6,470-seat Munn Ice Arena on the MSU campus in East Lansing, Mich.
The time change is a result of the contest being televised live by College Sports Television (CSTV) and this Friday's encounter is part of CSTV's Friday Night Hockey Game-of-the-Week package for the 2003-04 athletics season.
CSTV is currently available nationwide to more than 15 million cable and satellite homes. To find out where CSTV is available in your area, log on to www.CSTV.com, or call your local cable or satellite operator. CSTV is available for national distribution on DirecTV, channel 610.
The game will also be aired by the SCORE Television Network in Canada and will shown from coast to coast.
Following Friday's outing, Ferris State will then host the Spartans in the league series finale this Saturday (Nov. 1) at FSU's Ewigleben Ice Arena in Big Rapids, Mich. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. (EST).
The Bulldogs are presently 2-4-0 overall and 1-3-0 in the CCHA. Michigan State is 3-3-0 overall with a 2-2-0 league mark to date.
