WOMEN'S GOLF REUNION SET FOR FEBRUARY 16

Event To Reunite Ferris State Players of the Past and Present

The Ferris State University women's golf program will be celebrating a alumni reunion Saturday, Feb. 16, to honor those past and present student-athletes who have participated in the varsity sport at FSU.

"This (reunion) is something which I have been thinking about the last couple of years," said Ferris State head coach Brad Bedortha, who presently is in his ninth season of directing the women's golf program. "It's important we reconnect with our alumni and give them an opportunity to see in person what the university is like now."

The event will begin at 12 p.m. (EST) with a meeting at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center in Big Rapids, Mich. Those attending will have an opportunity to view the Bulldog women's and men's basketball games against Lake Superior State, starting at 1 p.m. (EST). A shuttle will be provided to and from the contests while snacks and drinks will be available at no charge.

Following the basketball games, a reception will be held at Bennigan's inside the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center at 5 p.m. (EST).

The only cost for those planning to attend is lodging and a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn has been reserved for $79 per night.
