"INSIDE THE CCHA" TO BE BROADCASTED BY BULLDOG RADIO
Popular College Hockey League Radio Show To Air Every Friday Throughout 2005-06 Season
For the third year in the station’s existence, Ferris State University’s student-produced radio station Bulldog Radio will carry the “Inside the CCHA” radio program. This year, it will be the only station in Big Rapids to air the program, which is produced by the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA).
The weekly radio show, hosted by broadcast veteran Fred Pletsch, provides college hockey fans with an opportunity to get the latest information on the CCHA and its 12-member institutions, including the Ferris State men's ice hockey program.
This year, the program will be airing every Friday at 5 p.m., and will repeat again on Saturday; also at 5 p.m. Bulldog Radio is heard on campus cable channel 22, as well as Charter Communications on channel 21 in Mecosta County. Additionally, the station has a live online webcast through their website at www.bulldogradio.org. The first show of the season will air beginning this Friday (Oct. 14).
Bulldog Radio President and General Manager Zack East stated, “Bulldog Radio realizes the great tradition that hockey has at Ferris State and we think it is necessary to provide programming that people want at the time they want to hear it. That’s why we’ve once again decided to air Inside the CCHA, as well as schedule it to air at a time when fans and players are ready to hit the arena for the weekend. They can leave with all the knowledge they need about what’s going on in the CCHA thanks to this show.”
Bulldog Radio is a 5-star Registered Student Organization with almost 50 years of history serving the Ferris campus. More information on additional programming or the station operations are available online by emailing info@bulldogradio.org or by calling the station at (231) 591-2912.
