FSU GRIDIRON CLUB SELECTS NEW OFFICERS AND BOARD MEMBERS
Jackie Warner Will Serve As President and John Milan As Vice President
The Ferris State University Gridiron Club has announced its newly-appointed officers and board members for the next three years (2002-05) starting with the 2002 football season.
The FSU Gridiron Club voted Jackie Warner president and John Milan as vice president.
Serving as board members will be past president Bob Davis, Jim Place, John Sonntag, Mike Mohnke, Suzie Pierce, Rex Schuberg and Chris Schwandt. All of these individuals will serve a three-year term and have the option of being re-elected following the completion of their service term.
The FSU Gridiron Club was formed in May 1995 to provide financial support for the football program. Since its inception, the Gridiron Club has increased its membership annually to presently over 500 individual members and businesses. The membership has also provided over $400,000 in cash and gift-in-kind donations.
The Gridiron Club giving year runs from November 1 through October 31 and the club will conduct a personal membership drive from June 1-15.
Highlighting some of the many annual Gridiron Club events this summer are the 19th annual golf outing on Saturday, June 15, at FSU’s Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids along with the Detroit Golf Outing Saturday, July 27, at Beaver Creek Golf Course (850 Stoney Creek Road) in Oakland Township, Mich.
