FERRIS FOOTBALL SPRING GAME SET FOR THIS FRIDAY NIGHT
Annual Tilt Concludes Spring Camp For The Bulldogs

The Ferris State University football team will culminate its 2006 spring practice schedule with the annual Crimson and Gold Spring Game this Friday evening, April 21, at FSU's Top Taggart Field in Big Rapids, Mich.
The annual spring contest, which is being sponsored by Papa John's of Big Rapids, will start at approximately 6 p.m. (EDT) and the public is encouraged to attend free of charge.
Directing the Gold (White) Team will be assistant coaches Matt McCarthy, Jason Rebrovich, and Ted Egger while Duane Wilson and Ken Conlin will coach the Crimson Team.
Following the game, fans will be able to meet and get autographs from Bulldog Football student-athletes and coaching staff members.
A pre-game reception for FSU Gridiron Club members only will be held in Wheeler Pavilion, starting at 5:30 p.m. (EDT) and light refreshments will be served.
The sixth annual FSU Gridiron Club Spring Tailgate reception be held at The Scoreboard Bar and Grill in Big Rapids. The event, which will feature pizza, is open to both FSU Gridiron Club members and the public.
Ferris kickoffs its 98th season of varsity competition Saturday, Sept. 2, versus the Kentucky State Thorobreds in Frankfort, Ky. The non-conference matchup is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. (EDT) from KSU's Alumni Stadium in what represents the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
The Bulldogs' 11-game regular-season slate also features the home opener Saturday, Sept. 16, against the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals at Top Taggart Field. The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) contest will commence at 7 p.m. (EDT).
