FERRIS STATE FOOTBALL GOLF OUTING SET FOR JUNE 18
Annual Event To Be Held At Meceola Country Club This Year
The 22nd annual Ferris State University Football Golf Outing will be held Saturday, June 18, at the Meceola Country Club in Big Rapids, Mich.
The four-person double shotgun golf scramble, which is sponsored by the FSU Gridiron Club, serves as one of the Ferris State football program’s primary fundraising events.
The cost for this year’s golf outing is $80 per player, which includes golf green fees, power cart, lunch during play, refreshments in the morning and afternoon at the clubhouse, keg beer, soda and bottled water on the course, and a buffet style dinner. A beverage cart on the course, which will offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, will be available. A great package of team and individual prizes will be awarded.
For the eighth consecutive year, the “Big Dog” package is available which features 18 holes of golf at Meceola Country Club, lunch and social hour followed by an additional 18 at Tullymore Golf Course in Stanwood, Mich. The dinner and social hour will be held at Meceola C.C. Cost for the “Big Dog” package is $165 per participant. The registration deadline for the “Big Dog” package is May 27 and there will be no exceptions. Along with the “Big Dog” package, corporate sponsorships are available and includes a foursome of golf along with a hole sponsorship for $750.
All registrations will be conducted at the Meceola C.C. Clubhouse. Area lodging accomodations are available for June 17-18 at the Holiday Inn, Best Western, Super 8 Motel, and Country Inn & Suites. Reservations must be made in advance by Monday, May 30, to guarantee the discounted rates and please notify hotel that you’re affiliated with the Ferris State Football golf outing to receive the discounted rate.

Individuals are encouraged to submit their registration forms along with complete payment no later than Saturday, June 4, to guarantee participation.
