The 23rd annual Ferris State University Football Golf Outing was held Saturday, June 17, at the Meceola Country Club near Big Rapids, Mich.
The winners in their respective groups are listed below:
1st Place (Men's Round): Elton Gingrich, Pat Gingrich, David Chistensen, and Jose Hernandez.
2nd Place (Men's Round): Mike Eagan, Al Kimichik, and Mark Jasonowicz.
1st Place (Coed Round): John Powers, Janet Powers, Carl Powers, and Roger Heisler.
1st Place ("Big Dog" Round): Jim Sofoulis, John Sonntag, Rick Krueger, Eddie Braden, and Dave Grunts.
The four-person double shotgun golf scramble, which was sponsored by the FSU Gridiron Club, serves as one of the Ferris State football program’s primary fundraising events.
The ninth annual "Big Dog" scamble was also held at the outing. The "Big Dog" format featured 18 holes of golf at the Meceola Country Club followed by another 18 holes at the Tullymore Golf Course in Stanwood, Mich.
