GIVING BACK TO FSU! Former Ferris State football player David Whalen was honored during the Bulldogs' recent home game against Saginaw Valley State (Sept. 16, 2006). Whalen is believed to be the oldest living former FSU football player and his children have established the David D. Whalen Scholar-Athlete Endowed Scholarship to aid student-athletes.
