2006-07 Ken's Sports & Trophy Center Bulldog Of The Month Award Winners
March Honorees
 | Kamitra Carroll - Women's Track & Field Junior, Throws Flint, Mich./Carman-Ainsworth Carroll earned All-America kudos in both the weight throw and shot put following her performances at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships March 9-10 in Boston, Mass. She claimed national runner-up honors in the weight throw during the opening day of action at the national meet with a best toss of 59-4 in the event. Carroll then placed sixth overall in the shot put with a mark of 46-5.50. The junior thrower was FSU's lone participant in the NCAA-II Championships. Her two All-America showings at the national meet enabled the Bulldogs to match their highest finish in program history at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships (15th - 11 points). For her efforts during the month, Carroll also was named to the Division II Women's Indoor Track and Field All-America Team as announced by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

 | Jared Kelsh - Men's Track & Field Junior, Distance Chippewa Lake, Mich./Chippewa Hills Won the 1,500 meters in a time of 4:02.94 to lead the Bulldog men's outdoor track and field squad to a fourth-place team finish at the outdoor season-opening Gene and Rose Edmonds Invitational (March 31) hosted by Saint Joseph's (Ind.) College in Rensselaer, Ind. The meet was the only competition for the men's track squad during the month. Kelsh was the only Bulldog men's participant to win an individual event at the meet.
