 | Amy Woodman - Women's Track and Field Senior Bristol, United Kingdom/University of Wales Woodman surpassed the NCAA Division II automatic qualifying standard and posted a new school record in the long jump during her first collegiate action at FSU. Her jump of 19-3.25 at the University of Michigan’s Simmons-Harvey Invitational (Jan. 26) in Ann Arbor broke the previous school record in the event established by Tanisha Maze (18-6.75) in 1992. The Bristol, United Kingdom, native placed third of 12 competitors in the long jump at the meet with the other 11 individuals all competing either unattached or from NCAA Division I schools.

 | Brendan Connolly - Hockey Junior Canmore, Alberta Posted a team-leading six points on five goals and an assist in six games. Tallied at least a point in all but one contest, which included two points on a goal and an assist against Alaska (1/12). Produced a goal in five outings and started out the month with a three-game goal-scoring streak. Netted the game winner on a power-play lamplighter in a 3-2 home triumph over Northern Michigan (1/18). Scored a short-handed goal on two occasions – against Alaska (1/12) and versus Western Michigan (1/26). Concluded the month with a two-game goal string after claiming a goal apiece in the two-game home-and-home series versus Western Michigan (1/25-26). Received RBC Financial Group CCHA Player of the Month special mention. Ferris State registered a 1-3-2 record for the month..
