2006-07 Ken's Sports & Trophy Center Bulldog Of The Month Award Winners
February Honorees
 | Rachel Folcik - Women's Basketball Junior, Forward/Center Powers, Mich./Carney-Nadeau The 6-1 Folcik averaged 23.9 points and 7.5 rebounds in eight February outings for the Bulldogs. She led the squad to a 7-1 overall mark during the month while claiming the GLIAC North Division Player of the Week honor three times. Folcik also appeared in Sports Illustrated magazine's popular "Faces In The Crowd" section during the month. She shot a blistering 64% from the floor and 89% from the free throw stripe in the stretch as the Bulldogs clinched a GLIAC Tournament quarterfinal-round home game. Folcik scored 20 or more points in six of the eight games highlighted by a performance of 34 points, 11 rebounds and seven blocked shots against Northern Michigan (Feb. 10). She also had 31 points and 11 boards at Wayne State (Feb. 15) before scoring 28 points as the Bulldogs upset defending NCAA-II National Champion Grand Valley State in the regular-season finale (Feb. 24).

 | Derek MacIntyre - Hockey Junior, Goaltender Stanwood, Mich. MacIntyre was honored as the RBC Financial Group CCHA Player of the Month and was also chosen as the CCHA's Goaltender of the Week (Feb. 19). Posted a 4-1-0 record in five February contests with a .950 save percentage (151 saves) and a 1.60 goals-against average (eight goals allowed) in 299:24 minutes of playing time. Won his first four starts of the month, which began with a season-best 38 saves in FSU's 6-2 home win against Ohio State (Feb. 3). He made 23 stops in Ferris' 2-1 home decision over then nationally fifth-ranked Michigan State (Feb. 13). The following weekend (Feb. 16-17), MacIntyre made 29 stops in a 2-1 home win versus Bowling Green State and then followed by blocking 28 shots in the Bulldogs' 5-2 triumph over the Falcons to sweep the CCHA weekend series. He totaled 33 saves, including 16 in a scoreless first period, at nationally top-ranked Notre Dame in a 2-0 regular-season finale setback. Selected as a runner-up for the Inside College Hockey.com (INCH) Shop Player of the Week (Feb. 20). Ferris State registered a season-best 6-2-0 record in its February contests.
