Bulldog Of The Month Award Winners

April 2008 Honorees

Becky Hoffman - Women's Golf Senior Gaines/Swartz Creek Registered a 78.38 stroke average (627 total strokes) in eight rounds of competition. Earned medalist honors at the 2008 GLIAC Championships (4/20-21) by winning a first-hole playoff after compiling a first-place tying three-round 226-stroke total. Recorded a 17th-place tying 159 score at the Ball State Cardinal Classic (4/13-14) after producing a three-round 242 score to tie for 35th place at the Illinois Illini Classic (4/4-5). Selected the GLIAC Women's Golf Athlete of the Week (4/23). The nationally-ranked Bulldogs placed among the top 10 teams in all three tournaments during the month.

Eric Lilleboe - Men's Golf Sophomore Okemos/Lansing Catholic Central Lilleboe led the team with a 73.29 stroke average (513 total strokes) in seven round during the month. He was honored as the GLIAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week as a result of earning individual medalist honors with a two-round 144 score at the Findlay Outback Steakhouse Invitational (4/11-12) in which the Bulldogs placed second of 12 participating teams. Lilleboe finished in a seventh-place tie at the Ashland Invite (4/13-14) with a 150 score and then tied for eighth-place honors at the NCAA-II Great Lakes Region Tournament III (4/19-20) by turning in a two-round 148-stroke total. Ferris State posted three second-place team finishes and a fourth-place performance in its regular-season finale tournament.
