BLOG 4: Ferris Back to School effort is a worthy endeavor

BIG RAPIDS – Ferris State University is scheduled to open its volleyball season on Thursday afternoon as it hosts Aquinas beginning at 7 p.m.

As part of that event, the Bulldog volleyball team plans to do its annual bit for community goodwill while doing something special for young elementary school area students. Ferris is hosting its Back to School night in Ewigleben Sports Arena and attendance is free to fans that provide a new school supply that can be given to local elementary school classrooms on behalf of Bulldog Volleyball and the FSU Athletics Department.

So, bring some new crayons, pens, pencils, glue, construction paper and notebooks to do something good for young people in our community and see some good college volleyball in the process.
