** The Bulldogs, who concluded the 2003-04 campaign with a 21-10 overall record, compiled a second-place 14-4 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) North Division mark and reached the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional Tournament for the second time in school history last season. The 2003-04 campaign also marked the eighth consecutive year in which the Bulldogs have won 10 or more games and registered their second 20-win campaign in the last five seasons.
** Junior guard Erin Miller (Niles), who was named a co-recipient of FSUís 2003-04 Most Valuable Player Award, reached double-figure scoring in 28 of her 31 contests last campaign and ranked as the Bulldogs' second-leading scorer (17.0 ppg). The 5-7 Miller was the recipient of the GLIACís 2002-03 Freshman of the Year Award after being the teamís third-highest scorer (12.5 ppg) in her initial season. Miller, who garnered both Verizon Academic All-District IV Third Team and GLIAC All-Academic Team recognition last year, also attained GLIAC North Division Player of the Week accolades twice (Jan. 5 & Feb. 9) in 2003-04. She earned first-team WBCA All-Great Lakes Region and All-GLIAC North Division, second-team Daktronics All-Great Lakes Region honors along with being among 40 finalists for the NCAA Division II Kodak/WBCA All-America Team a year ago.
** Senior forward/center Bridget Horwitz (Auburn, Ind./DeKalb), who missed all of last season with a hand injury, was a two-time (12/9, 2/17) GLIAC North Division Player of the Week during the 2002-03 campaign. She totaled 420 points (16.8 ppg) and a team-leading 210 rebounds (8.4 rpg) in 25 appearances in 2002-03. The 6-2 Horwitz scored 10 points or more in 22 games while notching nine double-double (scoring & rebounding) performances. She was also named to the All-GLIAC North Division Second-Team two seasons ago.
** Senior forward Sarah Duesing (Sault Ste. Marie/Sault Area) was voted to the GLIAC North Divisionís All-Defensive Team in 2003-04. Duesing totaled a personal career-high 233 points, 116 rebounds and 33 assists last season while being named FSUís Defensive MVP Award winner. She compiled nine double-digit scoring efforts in 2003-04.
** Seventh-year FSU head coach Tracey Fisk presently ranks as the schoolís all-time winningest coach and is second among Ferrisí leaders in career coaching victories. Fisk has compiled a 106-61 (.635) record to date in six seasons at Ferris State. She is 12 victories shy of matching Pat Dolanís (1977-89) school record total of 118 wins.
** FSU has posted seven-straight winning seasons. Both of FSUís two all-time NCAA Division II National Tournament appearances have came under head coach Tracey Fisk.
