April 12: Ferris State Adds Stu Engen To Finalist List

As a result of the recent withdrawal of two finalists for the head coaching position of the men's basketball program, the Ferris State University Athletics Department has announced the addition of another finalist candidate.

Stu Engen, currently the head coach of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's basketball program, will be on the FSU campus Thursday, April 18, for a formal interview session.

The remaining interview dates and respective candidates are as follows:

April 12 - Joe Pechota (Assistant Coach - Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne) pronounced Pa-chote-tah

April 15 - Ric Wesley (Assistant Coach - Southwest Missouri State University)

April 17 - Linc Darner (Assistant Coach - Ashland University)

April 18 - Stu Engen (Head Coach - University of Wisconsin-La Crosse)

April 19 - Bill Sall (Assistant Coach - Hillsdale College)

A public forum, which allows the public an opportunity to meet with each candidate, will be held from 1-1:45 p.m.(EDT) during each candidate's interview session and will be conducted in the classroom at the R.L. Ewigleben (pronounced A-VAH-glave-in) Sports Complex on the FSU campus.
