The 2008-09 Ferris State University Men's Basketball Awards Banquet, presented by the Rebounders Booster Club and the Rotary Club of Big Rapids, will be held Sunday, April 26, at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center in Big Rapids, Mich.
Fans and family members can still reserve a seat to join the coaching staff, administration and basketball team as the season's accomplishments are highlighted throughout the event. Head coach Bill Sall will review the 2008-09 season and present individual honors and awards, with a special recognition gift and tribute to the team’s two seniors in Jason Holder and Mark Gildersleeve. The Bulldogs' Most Valuable Player Award recipient will also be among the special honors announced during the day.
A 1 p.m. (EDT) social gathering precedes the dinner and program at 1:30 p.m. (EDT).
Banquet tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children under eight years of age. Player sponsorships are also available for $20 each.

Ferris State concluded the 2008-09 campaign with a 14-14 overall record and the Bulldogs placed third (12-10) in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) North Division play. In addition, FSU made its 10th GLIAC Tournament appearance and fourth in the last five years this season. This year also represented the seventh consecutive year the Bulldogs have won 10 or more games under Sall after the program had not done so in the four years prior to his arrival.
