Ferris State wrapped up its 2005-06 women's basketball season with an 18-10 overall record and made its seventh consecutive GLIAC Tournament appearance last campaign. FSU, which posted a third-place tying 12-6 mark in GLIAC North Division play a year ago, also registered its 10th consecutive season with 10 or more victories in 2005-06.

The Bulldog women's basketball squad first hits the hardwood with an exhibition contest Sunday, Nov. 12, at NCAA Division I Michigan State starting at 2 p.m. (EDT) in the Breslin Center at East Lansing, Mich. Their first official contest will be five days later on Friday, Nov. 17, when FSU squares off against West Virginia State in the Clarion (Pa.) The men's team has a pair of exhibition games scheduled against NCAA-I competition. The initial appearance is slated for Tuesday, Nov. 7, versus Toledo (Ohio) starting at 6 p.m. (EDT) in Toledo, Ohio. FSU then visits the University of Detroit Mercy Friday, Nov. 10, for a 7:05 p.m. (EDT) exhibition contest in Detroit, Mich.
