Student CenteredSince Ferris is student centered, you'll rarely find any graduate assistants teaching your student here. Our classes are taught by professors who have both scholarly knowledge and real-world experience in the subjects they are teaching, giving them an edge in preparing students for the professional licensing and certifications required in many of our programs. With a 16-to-1 student/teacher ratio, your teen's professors will know your son or daughter by name. Student-to-professor personal interaction offers mentoring, advice and employment connections for your student. And FSU cares that your son or daughter has good things to do outside of class -- that's why we offer approximately 200 recognized student organizations. Students take part in politics, publications (including the college newspaper), cultural and entertainment events, religious groups, theater, debate, vocal groups, softball, soccer, football, sororities, fraternities, student chapters of professional organizations, service organizations and dozens more. |
