Life on Campus - Entertainment

Ferris is home to a wide range of enriching activities and stimulating events for our students, faculty, staff and other members of the local community. On a campus where diversity is valued, our students can enjoy the kinds of entertainment you only expect in a big city on our Big Rapids campus. Through concerts, exhibits, guest speakers, presentations, lively debates and more, Ferris seeks to entertain while nurturing deep learning in addition to social and cultural consciousness among students.

Our students enjoy popular music from hot artists through anticipated events like Ferris Fest, our annual spring outdoor concert extravaganza, and Autumn Alive, our fall bash that serves as a highlight of Homecoming week activities.

Our main campus in Big Rapids is home to museums, with dynamic, entertaining and thought-provoking exhibits; G. Mennen Williams Auditorium, which hosts headlining speakers, performing artists and more; James M. Wink Arena, the home of commencement and many of our larger concerts; as well as educational centers such as the Rankin Student Center Art Gallery, Card Wildlife Education Center and the John and Rhea Smith Greenhouse.
