Foundation Board Meeting Update
The Ferris Foundation Board of Directors met on Saturday, October 20.
The agenda included a presentation from Nolan Bean at Fund Evaluation Group. Mr. Bean
gave the Directors an update on The Foundation's investments. There was also a presentation
from Todd Jacobs, Director of Planned Giving for Ferris State University. Mr. Jacobs discussed
his strategies for planned giving.
President David Eisler gave the Directors an update on the University and Dr. Richard Duffett updated
them on University Advancement and Marketing.
The Board of Directors voted on a Slate of Board Officers and a Slate of Board Chairs. Both slates
were approved unanimously.
Mr. Gary Trimarco "passed the gavel" to the new Board of Directors Chair, Sueann Walz. Ms. Walz
adjourned the meeting at 11:30 a.m.
