On Saturday, April 29, President David L. Eisler and the Ferris Foundation hosted "An Evening of Appreciation," a reception and dinner held outside this year in front of the Timme Center for Student Services (CSS), for alumni, faculty, staff, friends and corporate benefactors, as they were inducted as new members of several University donor societies.
The evening began with a reception featuring tours of the CSS and tour leaders explained how the center is a one-stop service center for students on campus. The first floor tour was led by CSS staff Mary Anne Priemer and Chris Higley. Heather Youngs, CSS staff member, gave the tour of the second floor and student receptionist Sarah Sharp led the third floor tour.
Later in the evening new members to the University’s donor societies were recognized, and President Eisler closed the evening by thanking all of the new members for their dedication and commitment to Ferris State University.
Becoming a member of a University donor society supports Ferris State University and its programs. Members designate the use of their gifts for a specific purpose or provide an undesignated gift to be used in the area of greatest need. Support may also provide endowment funds for scholarships, specific programs, activities or general assistance to the University. Individuals interested in becoming members of one of the University's donor societies are encouraged to contact the Advancement Office at (231) 591-3815.
