Ferris Statewide & Online Students
(Off-Campus Locations)
Students admitted to one of Ferris' off-campus locations or an online program who wish to participate in the Big Rapids ceremony will attend with their affiliated college. For example, a student graduating with a criminal justice degree will graduate with the College of Education and Human Services; a student graduating with a business administration degree will graduate with the College of Business.
Graduates from Dowagiac, Flint, and Traverse City have the choice of attending their local ceremony (if offered), traveling to the main campus, or both. Please contact your location's Commencement Coordinator to let them know the location you plan to walk.

Caps and Gowns (regalia) may be purchased by visiting the Big Rapids campus bookstore or you may have your regalia shipped to you by calling (231) 591-2607. If shipped, a shipping fee will be applied to the cost. Click here for more information.

Students graduating from one of the below College of Professional and Technological Studies degree programs participate in the Big Rapids ceremony.
