Strategies for YOUR
Educational Success Program Description
The "Strategies for Your Educational Success" program begins with a one hour group workshop led by one of Ferris' educational counselors. During this workshop, students will complete a brief assessment of their learning preference and another short assessment identifying their approach to the college learning experience.
A vision screening and one (or more) individual appointments with a Ferris educational counselor are vital components of the program. These individual appointments with an educational counselor give the students the opportunity to work one-on-one towards success by determining their strengths, identifying resources for solutions and acquiring new learning strategies.
We have found that students who come to the "Strategies for Your Educational Success" benefit greatly. "For the seventh consecutive semester, statistics show success for students who participate in 'Strategies'.
