Confidentiality

Any information revealed by a client during a counseling session is confidential unless we have your written permission to release that information.

There are some cases, however, in which we are required by law to take action:
  • If we believe you are in imminent danger of harming yourself or another person
  • If we believe you have engaged in acts of child or dependent adult abuse
  • If we believe you have been a victim of child abuse or neglect
  • If we have information pertaining to criminal behavior, crimes, or fraud
  • If we receive a court order
