Dropping & Withdrawing from Classes

If you find it necessary to drop or withdraw from a class, you must call your regional office to avoid receiving an "F" grade in the course.

See the current academic calendar for the last day for an approved "W" grade.

Total withdrawals from the University must be completed through the Records Office. To begin the process, and to get full policies and procedures, you can either email registrar@ferris.edu or call toll-free (800) 433-7747.

Note: If you withdraw from the University during fall or winter semesters, your matriculation is closed. When you desire to return to the University you need to complete a new application for admission to provide up to date information for your student record.
