Automotive Management BS

It's amazing what one degree - a Bachelor of Science degree in Automotive Management - does for your career. You can move into management at dealerships, repair centers, manufacturers - anywhere leaders are needed with technical, managerial and communication skills. Your degree can also prepare you for such positions as aftermarket management, fleet management, technical writing and training. And the unique Ferris program gives you the opportunity to complete your entire third and fourth years while still working full- or part-time. The automotive industry needs managers and representatives with up-to-date technical, managerial and communication skills. Graduates from the AM program are among the highest-paid and most sought-after graduates of Ferris. Many graduates are faced with the difficult decision of choosing from several highly-desirable and lucrative job offers. Basic Admission Requirements: To be admitted to this program you must have an associate degree in an automotive or heavy equipment related technical area or the equivalent from an accredited college, university, or manufacturer/dealership co-op program such as GM's ASEP, Ford's ASSET and Chrysler's CAP.


Criminal Justice BS

Criminal Justice Generalist Track- This program gives you a general education in criminal justice, but also lets you choose to focus on specific technical skills by enrolling in clusters of courses in the areas of forensic science, communications, accounting, computer information systems, human resource management, Spanish or social sciences. Coursework is designed to provide an understanding of criminal justice, while allowing you to obtain special work-related skills that will open opportunities in a variety of criminal justice agencies, or pursue the Bachelor of Science degree with the intent of pursuing further graduate or professional studies. Basic Admission Requirements To be admitted to this program you must have an associate's degree (or be working toward one) and have completed 56 credit hours from an accredited college or university. An overall 2.0 cumulative grade point average is required, and you'll need to submit official transcripts from all accredited colleges/universities with your application.
