First Class Session
During the first class session, you should verify
the class list with the students in attendance. Any additions, changes,
or deletions to the class list must be reported the next business
day to your Regional Center.
Students Not On Class
List
In some cases a student may be present who is not on the class
list. A student is not officially a member of the class unless
he or she registers. If a
student is in attendance, but not on your class list, they must
call their regional office or the UCEL main office the next business
day to request to be registered.
Some students may have registered after the class list was printed.
Students that say they have registered, but are not listed on the
class list, will need to call their Regional Center on the next
business day to verify their registration.
Tuition Payment
Faculty should not collect any payments from the students. Refer
students to the Ferris Business Office.
Textbooks
The following information is provided to all off-campus students:
Textbooks used in support of off-campus course sections are the
same as those used on campus unless the instructor has made special
arrangements with the appropriate department head. Textbook orders
should be placed as early as possible. For the purchase of textbooks,
MBS Textbook Exchange serves all of our off-campus students (see
Appendix C).
