To obtain the certificate, you must successfully complete all four parts of the
program at the level specified in the individual segment outlines.

This Online program consists of four courses and is designed for individuals who currently work within the Facility Management profession and desire to broaden their understanding of Facility Management. Individuals with job titles and responsibilities such as facility manager, building manager/supervisor, building owner, facility planner and support staff, architect, architectural technician, designer, engineer, furniture industry designer, and facility management service consultant will benefit from these courses.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is an evolving technology that has changed
greatly in the last decade and is affecting many disciplines. This certificate
has been designed to provide fundamental knowledge and skills needed to
implement GIS in your business or organization. The three three-credit hour
courses that make up the program are Principles of GIS (GISC 225), Geographic
Information Systems II (GISC 282), and GIS Data Analysis and Specialization

The purpose of this certificate is to provide a theoretical and practical foundation in nursing education for nurses who wish to assume the role of nursing faculty in an associate or baccalaureate degree nursing program. This certificate will provide the opportunity to acquire some of the basic skills utilized by the nurse educator.
This certificate can be valuable to BSN prepared nurses who may be teaching in a community college setting by exception (faculty hired without required credentials due to lack of availability of qualified faculty) and desire career mobility to attain a faculty position in that same setting.
The certificate also can serve as the first step toward the proposed MSN degree, thus providing a ladder into graduate programming for BSN nurses.
