Applied Research Services
CPD can provide faculty, outside providers, and students in applied research activities related to Ferris State University programs. For a full list of Ferris State programming visit our Website. Our research programs have been run over a period of days, weeks, months, or as long as a year in duration. Note that research grants may also be available for projects that have educational partners involved.
Sample projects could include but are not limited to:
- Small business grants for innovative tooling/processing techniques.
- Application testing of grinding wheels.
- Laboratory testing of new drugs.
- Optometry process and product testing programs.
