Design and Manufacturing
June 14-19, 2009
Students will use solid modeling software to create three-dimensional
geometry, designing and prototyping simple household products and a
micro-machine. This track also includes demonstrations and hands-on
workshops in Welding, Manufacturing Tooling & CNC, Mechanical Engineering,
and Plastics technology.
Design, Transportation, and Electronics
July 12-17, 2009
Students will learn about Automotive Systems, Heavy Equipment and
Hydraulic Power, Electronics, and what is involved in selecting materials
used when considering product design. Students will also use solid
modeling software to create three-dimensional geometry, designing
and prototyping simple household products and a micro-machine.
Architecture, Construction, and Graphics
July 12-17, 2009
Students will use architectural CAD software to design a building. This
track also offers demonstrations and hands-on applications in Surveying
and Mapping; Printing and Digital Imaging; Heating, Ventilation,
Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration; and Construction.
Engineering and Technology Exploration Academies
Learn the latest technology while checking out University life. Explore
your own unique interests by choosing from the following three specialized
tracks. Registration Fee: $445 ($380 for commuters)

Registration Deadline is 2 weeks in advance of the start date . A letter of confirmation, campus map, and specific camp information and required
forms will be sent upon receipt of paid registration.
Refunds/Cancellations: All requests for refunds or cancellations received in writing 2 weeks prior to camp start date will be honored, minus a $50 administrative
fee. Cancellations received less than 2 weeks prior to camp start date will not be refunded. Ferris State University reserves the right to
cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment with full refund.
