Joe Compton joined the HVACR team in August of 2004 as an HVACR Instructor and has taught such courses as HVACR 101, HVACR 102, HVACR 208 and HVACR 245.

Mr. Compton has had the opportunity to work in the HVACR sector, as well as a school setting, for Ferris State University for ten years and other companies such as FitzSimons Manufacturing Company.

Joe holds an Associate degree in Heating, Ventilation, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology obtained in May of 1997 and a Bachelor's degree in Heating, Ventilation, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering Technology from Ferris State University in May of 2002.  Since becoming an Assistant Professor for the HVACR department, Joe has earned a Master's degree in Business Administration.

Joe enjoys spare time with his family. Other hobbies include: assisting or coaching with youth leadership organizations such as soccer, baseball and boy scouts.
