Scholarships
|
|
To help the students achieve their academic goals, there are
several scholarships available. Some of the scholarships are offered through the
CTM department while other scholarships are available through the University or
directly from various industry organizations.

Department-Awarded Scholarships |
|
American Society Professional Estimators Chapter 70 Scholarship
|
Funded from an endowment. Candidates must be
full-time junior or senior Construction Management students with a minimum
2.80 GPA. Candidates must have participated in student organizations
and demonstrate financial need. Scholarship amounts may be up to 25%
of annual cost of tuition and fees.

Construction Management Industry Scholarships
|
Typically $1,000 per scholarship (minimum three per year),
financed through proceeds of annual golf outing. Candidates must be
full-time junior or senior Construction Management students and have
completed a minimum of 24 credit hours of study at Ferris. Selection
criteria include academic standing and participation in extracurricular
activities.

Gerace Construction Company, Inc. Scholarship
|
Funded from a named endowment, it provides a maximum value
of 25% of annual tuition. Candidates must be full-time junior or
senior Construction Management students and have completed a minimum of 60
credit hours of study, 15 hours of which are from Ferris. Selection
considers participation in extracurricular activities.

John Sebold Memorial Scholarship
|
Provides 50% of annual tuition cost for four years.
Candidates must have a minimum 2.5 GPA after first semester at
Ferris. Selection considers financial need.

|
John Wheeler Scholarship
|
Provides $1,000 to an Architectural Technology student
entering the junior year in Construction Management.
|
|
Mid-Michigan Engineering & Surveying Scholarship
|
Annually, provides two $500 scholarships to students in
Civil Engineering Technology or the Highway Track of the Construction
Management degree. Candidates must have completed a minimum of 30
credit hours, have a minimum 3.00 GPA, and be a U.S. citizen. Preference
is given to nontraditional students.

Northern Michigan Road Commissioners Association Scholarship
|
Rotating scholarship for surveying and construction
students. Reserved for full-time students from northern Michigan counties.
|
|
Three Rivers Construction Company Scholarship
|
Provides up to full cost of tuition, fees, books, room, and
board each year. Candidates must be full-time students in Building
Construction Technology. Preference is given to employees of Three
Rivers Construction Company and their children.

|
Many organizations provide scholarships or other
financial assistance for students. Typically, these are arranged
directly between the student and the organization. Some of these
