Meet Our Staff
Matthew D. Pinter, PGM CoordinatorMatt received a B.S. in Secondary Education at Northern Michigan University and an M.S. in Sport Administration at Mississippi State University. He has been the coordinator of Ferris' Professional Golf Management program since March 1993. Mr. Pinter is responsible for academic advising, internship placement and administration of the PGA of America Golf Professional Training Program for up to 300 students annually. He also helps coordinate placement for graduating students. Matt is the director of the University's 18-hole golf course, Katke Golf Course. Memberships/Activities
Kevin TucciHead Golf ProfessionalManager, Katke Golf CourseKevin received a B.S. in Business with a major in Marketing/Professional Golf Management from Ferris State University in 1998. After graduation, he took the assistant golf professional position at Katke Golf Course. During that time, he was also the assistant golf camp director. Kevin has five years of teaching experience and has been trained in custom fitting for Ping, Wilson, Tour Edge and Titleist golf clubs. Kevin has been a Class A Member of the PGA of America since his election to membership in June 1999. He began his current position in February of 2003 as Head Golf Professional and Manager of Katke Golf Course, and Co-Golf Camp Director.
Diane Maguire, PGM Administrative Assistant.Diane received a B.S. in Business Management/Office Administration and a B.S. in Business Records Management from Ferris in 1980. She worked in business and industry until 1989, when she accepted a grant funded administrative position at Ferris in the Professional Development Institute, which provided workshops and training for career and technical education teachers throughout Michigan. In 1991 and for the past 15 years Diane served as the Administrative Assistant to the director of the Professional Tennis Management (PTM) program, where she oversaw the PTM budgets and scholarships, and maintained the prospect, student, internship and alumni databases. She coordinated workshops, seminars, spring banquet, and provided support in all aspects of the program including academic advising, registration, alumni relations, and student association activities. She was also responsible for the marketing and administrative duties for the Ferris State Tennis Camps. During that time she also obtained a Master of Science degree in Career and Technical Education from Ferris. She began her current position with the Professional Golf Management (PGM) program in June of 2006. She oversees internship coordination and placement, interview day, PGM scholarships and budgets. She coordinates PGA Checkpoint, PGA Merchandise Show, Senior Banquet, workshops, seminars, and PGM activities. She provides support in all aspects of the program including academic advising, registration, recruiting, job placement, and alumni relations.
Annette Keyt, PGM and SEHM Department SecretaryAnnette has been at Ferris since 1980. She started in the PGM Office, September 2007. She provides support for the PGM Office and the department of Sports, Entertainment, and Hospitality Management. She assists in the advising, registration, graduation and other academic areas for the students in the PGM program.
