The Department of Languages and Literature at Ferris State University consists of more than 60 faculty members. They include active Fulbright lecturers and international presenters whose varied experiences and academic backgrounds offer students diverse perspectives on languages, literature, and the social and professional cultures of the written word. Among our faculty are advisors for our English B.A., English Education, Technical and Professional Communication, and Journalism and Technical Communication programs, as well as advisors for registered student organizations and coordinators for department-sponsored student events, such as the annual Shakespeare's Birthday celebration and Prism writing contest and publication.
