The College of Arts and Sciences at Ferris State University is home to the Departments of Biology, Humanities, Languages and Literature, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and Social Sciences. Many of the programs in the College of Arts and Sciences provide a learning-centered, broad-based education that provides students the opportunity to develop the attributes needed for success in living and working in a complex world. The Michigan College of Arts and Sciences at FSU prides itself on its professional teaching faculty, master teachers who dedicate themselves to their students, both upper division and lower division. All students in the Michigan College of Arts and Sciences enjoy small classes with a great deal of personal interaction with our outstanding faculty, many of whom have been honored with prestigious teaching awards, nationally recognized fellowships, and numerous other honors.
