Theatre Area

Theatre at Ferris State University is a program designed for all students who want to explore their artistic abilities through performance and/or technical theatre. Ferris Theatre creates two full productions a year for students develop their skills. Students are encouraged to continue their interest in theatre at Ferris or use the theatre area to discover something new about themselves and their talents. No previous experience is necessary.

Participating in theatre is a great way to meet friends while developing presentational, teamwork and leadership skills. Students can also use hours from theatre work for their volunteer hours for the Honors College and other organizations.

Working in the theatre gives students hands-on learning as well as collaborative experiences useful in any profession plus a sense of involvement in their college community. Classes-which are open to students from ALL programs - include Acting, Directing, Technical Theatre, Educational Theatre and Study Abroad in England.
