Professor Barry Mehler holds a PhD in History with specializations in the History of Science, racism and science, and the Holocaust.   He is the Founder and Director of the Institute for the Study of Academic Racism (ISAR, ). ISAR maintains an extensive archive and offers history majors internships in archival research and development.   Dr. Mehler teaches a wide range of courses including: the History of Science; Racism and Science; Racism in the Modern World; the Modern Middle East; Terrorism in the Modern World as well as the American History Survey and a History of Business in America.   Dr. Mehler is an internationally recognized expert in the history of eugenics and has published over a hundred articles in scholarly and popular magazines.   He serves on the Advisory Board of the Institute for the Study of Psychiatry and Psychology in Washington, D.C. and is listed in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Education.
