Robert Quist holds degrees in Humanities (PhD and BA), Musicology (MA), and Library and Information Studies (MIS).   He currently teaches introductory and survey courses in Humanities.   He also teaches Film courses, and has taught Music History and Appreciation.  His area of interest includes the arts and philosophies of the Renaissance and Twentieth Century.   He also specializes in musical styles of modern Scandinavia.   In addition, he enjoys performing on the recorder, flute, piano, and organ.
