The 1960s
Curt Henderson (T’61), Farwell, Mich., has joined State Wide Real Estate of Clare.
Shari Riggs Russell (B’68), Lake Worth, Fla., retired from J.C. Penny after 20 years in Personnel Management and is enjoying life with her husband and dogs.

The 1970s
David Miller (E’70), Fraser, Mich., retired after 33 years with Fraser High School.
Pam (Vodry) Powers (AS’70), Belmont, Mich., recently received the Multi-Age Teacher of the Year award from Kent County Education Association. She is a counselor at North Rockford Middle School.
Joel DeLong (B’72), Clarkston, Mich., is now president of Clarkston Rotary.
Lynn Wolgast (B’72), Saginaw, Mich., is chairman and CEO of Wolgast Corp. and was recently inducted into the Junior Achievement of Northeast Michigan Business Hall of Fame.

Mark Barrone (B’73), Portage, Mich., received a Michigan Department of Transportation Director’s Award, MDOT’s highest honor, for his leadership and accomplishments as a Southwest Region real estate supervisor.

Denise Larr (AS’73), Powell, Ohio, now leads CWS Governmental Relations, Ltd., a wholly owned affiliate of the law firm Chester Willcox & Saxbe LLP. She has devoted much of her career to public service and governmental affairs.
Joe Young (P’74), Battle Creek, Mich., is now with Young’s Pharmacy in Albion.
Tim Essebaggers (AS’75), Dulles, Va., accepted a position as executive officer with the United States Agency for International Development and is presently posted in Bucharest, Romania, as a Diplomat, Foreign Service Officer.
Mark Siedelberg (T’75), Reed City, Mich., is now sales manager of Tubelite Inc.
Michael Bullerdick (B’76), Sarasota, Fla., was named president of First Community Bank of America.
Daniel Kozakiewicz (T’76), Midland, Mich., is president of Three Rivers Construction of Midland and was appointed to Ferris’ College of Technology Advisory Council.
Dorian Lange (P’76), Eaton Rapids, Mich., recently purchased a portfolio of 50 office buildings and parks in one of Lansing’s largest real estate transactions.
Robert Macomber (T’76), Saline, Mich., was elected senior vice chairman of the American Council of Engineering Companies Executive Committee. He is president and CEO of development consulting firm Atwell-Hicks, Inc.
Bethany Bernthal (B’77), Frankenmuth, Mich., was promoted to director of Brand Management and Communications for Product & Service Solutions in Troy.

The 1980s
Joel (B’81) and Audrey (McKenzie) (AS’82) Martinchek, Cheboygan, Mich., were awarded for the fifth consecutive year the Coldwell Banker’s International Presidents Elite award, given to real estate agents in the top 4 percent internationally. Newly added to the team is Ferris sophomore Matt Dietz.
Paul Dachoff (B’83), Oviedo, Fla., was recognized for his outstanding contributions to Precast Concrete Structures Assoc. in writing its generic quality control program. He is currently with OldCastle Precast, Inc., Orlando, in Sales and Operations.
Paul Martin (B’83), Iron Mountain, Mich., is now chief financial officer at the Eagle Country Federal Credit Union Crystal Falls branch.
Joseph Pistrui (B’83), Madrid, Spain, recently earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona and was appointed director of Entrepreneurial Studies at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid.
Brian Roe (B’83), Jackson, Mich., is now business manager of the Chelsea Area Fire Authority.
Ken Serrell (B’84), Holland, Mich., is teaching as a computer information systems adjunct professor at Davenport University.
Ray Lingle (B’86), Essexville, Mich., was promoted to president of Lingle Equipment, Inc. in Saginaw.
Jon Volk (P’86), Bad Axe, Mich., Mike Delpiere (P’84) and Scott Rayl (P’81), Harbor Beach, Mich., have opened Northgate Pharmacy, located inside McDonald’s Food & Family Center in Bad Axe.

Major Timothy Ringquist (T’87, left) and Colonel Dave Morris (AS’87) recently returned from Kuwait where they flew combat sorties in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
   Ringquist and Morris finished pilot training at the same base less than a year apart, and served together as part of the Michigan Air National Guard’s 110th Fighter Wing based in Battle Creek, Mich.

Raymond MacMurray (T’87), Tawas City, Mich., is an environmental specialist with RC Engineering and recently attained Certified Drinking Water Operator status.
Paul Schultz (B’87), Kingsford, Mich., was appointed to the Kingsford City Council.
Camille Jourden-Mark (B’88), Whitehall, Mich., is now vice president and general manager of Michigan’s Adventure.
Richard Karns (AH’88), Reed City, Mich., was named 2003 Citizen of the Year by the Reed City Area Chamber of Commerce.
Francine Vallier (T’89), Zeeland, Mich., wed Kenneth Manschesky, also of Zeeland.

The 1990s
Richard DeBow (B’91), Murfreesboro, Tenn., recently became assistant director of Records at Middle Tennessee State University.
Scott (T’91) and Melissa (Finkbeiner) Geyer (B’92), Oxford, Mich., announce the birth of Lauren Nicole.
Chris Putti (T’92), Kalamazoo, Mich. wed Sherry Lapekas, also of Kalamazoo.
Johnathan Chase (E’93), St. Joseph, Mich., married Melissa Sackett, also of St. Joseph.
Pete Colburn (AH’93), Alto, Mich., and wife, Becky, announce the birth of their son, Clark Jameson.
David Hewitt (B’93), Brighton, Mich., wife Monica and firstborn Hayden welcome Avery Elaine to their family. David is an Allstate Insurance district manager.
Kevin Keller (T’93), St. Johns, Mich., wed Melissa Cadwell, also of St. Johns.
Paul Kulas (AS’93), Jackson, Mich., has joined Chelsea Community Hospital as director of Chelsea Orthopedic Specialists.

Christopher Lamus (T’93), Ann Arbor, Mich., is a registered professional surveyor and was elected a shareholder in the firm of Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment.

Audra Taylor (B’93), Phoenix, Ariz., was promoted to chief financial officer of McMurry, Inc. in Phoenix.
Todd Vagi (T’93), Castle Rock, Colo., was promoted to general zone manager for Lincoln Mercury Sales Division-Denver Region.
Brian Young (AS’93), Saginaw Township, Mich., is now general manager of Digital Satellite Inc.
Mark Basket (T’94), Bay City, Mich., is now with RC Engineering in Saginaw as team leader and trainer in the Survey Dept.
Christopher Faille (T’94), New Lothrop, Mich., wed Alicia Van Wagner, also of New Lothrop.
William Mure (AS’94), Jackson, Mich., was appointed to the Jackson City Council.
David Brunsting (E’95), Grand Haven, Mich., received a meritorious award from the Michigan State Police Board of Awards.
Sharon (Prieto) Fryer (B’95), Livonia, Mich., announces the birth of son Marco, who joins his brother, Jackson.
Christopher Withers (E’95), Ypsilanti, Mich., is in the U.S. Army Special Forces Operations and was deployed to Kuwait.
Samantha Hickman (B’97), Lake Zurich, Ill. married Jason Hutchinson, also of
Lake Zurich.
Rocky May (AH’97), Canton, Mich., is now section supervisor of Safety, Security & Fire Protection at Visteon Saline Plastics and earned an M.S. in Administration-Human Resources from CMU.
Douglas TerBush (AS’97), Mio, Mich., was activated for duty, stationed at Fort Sill in Oklahoma with the 745th EOD of Camp Grayling.
Brian Donovan (T’98), Howell, Mich., married Leslie Siefka, also of Howell.
Rosemary Music (AH’98), Canton, Mich., recently married James Higgerson, and they live with their four rescue dogs. Rose is a compliance auditor at the University of Michigan Health System, and Jim is a licensed funeral director.
Deborah Osborne (O’98), Montague, Mich., opened a private practice, Fruitport Family Eyecare, and proudly announces the birth of Braquelle Rose.
Heather Quick (E’98), Jenison, Mich., was promoted to assistant director for KinderCare Learning Centers.
Jeannette Forbes (AH’99), Manistee, Mich., has rejoined Memorial Medical Center of West Michigan in Ludington as director of nursing for critical care and medical nursing.
Jeremy Hoven (P’99), Buchanan, Mich., wed Shannon Fitzgibbon (P’01) of
Akron, Ohio.
Edward (E’99) and Ruby (AH’99) (Castillo) Light III, Rockwood, Mich., welcomed their new daughter, Adrianna.
Ken Meines (T’99), Jenison, Mich., is now a certified facility manager with IFMA.
Mark Pancheck (P’99), Swartz Creek, Mich., and wife Blair recently welcomed baby Mackenzie Nicole. Mark is pharmacy manager for Walgreens.

The 2000s
Andrew Copeland (P’00), Sterling Heights, Mich., married Kimberlee Kirkpatrick (B’01) of Stanwood.
Jacob Craft (E’00), Farwell, Mich., graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Juris Doctorate.
Angela Hodge (E’00), Tucson, Ariz., was named soldier of the quarter for her exemplary duty performance and other notable accomplishments as an Army Specialist. She is an animal care specialist assigned to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.
Rebecca Johnson (AH’00), Portage, Mich., married Mark Clemence, also of Portage.
Derek Pollard (P’01), Orlando, Fla., wed Kelly Huebert, also of Orlando.
Autumn Thompson (B’01), Trufant, Mich., married Richard Hoffman III of Zeeland.
Tara Misoni-Atanasoff (O’02), Iron River, Mich., has joined Dr. R. K. Atanasoff in optometric practice.
Devon Pettis (E’02), Fremont, Mich., was selected as the new assistant director of the Newaygo County Career Tech Center.
Jared (T’00) and Michelle (Lentz) (B’98) DeMott, Elkridge, Md., recently welcomed baby Ethan. Jared is a federal agent for the National Security Agency.
Shelly Justus (B’01), White Lake, Mich., wed Jason Belland (B’00) of Rochester Hills.
Robert Knight (B’02), Davison, Mich., is now regional manager with Professional Grounds Services in Walled Lake.
