Alumni Scholarship Recipients Announced

The Ferris State Alumni Association awarded 12 scholarships this year to children of alumni. Alumni Scholarships are awarded each year to students who have attended two or more full semesters, have a 2.75 or better GPA and show leadership potential by being active in community and campus activities.
This year’s scholarship recipients are Katherine Jones of Menominee, a junior in Medical Technology; Harper Wildern of Charlotte, a third-year Optometry student; Matthew Lewis of Hersey, a junior in Finance; Jessica Octernaud of Big Rapids, a senior in Applied Speech Communication; Cheryl McCormick of Fountain, a senior in Business Education; Jean Routley of Big Rapids, a junior in Elementary Education; Ryan Haase of Wyoming, a junior in CAD Drafting and Tool Design; Ryan Pubanz of Grand Haven, a senior in Plastics Engineering Technology; Michelle Gable of Cadillac, a senior in Business Administration; Robert Scheerer of New Era, a junior in Surveying Engineering; Bradley Ypma of Cass City, a sophomore in Pre-Pharmacy; and Rebecca Bolinger of Kentwood, a junior in Criminal Justice.
