Mehl Named Marketing Professor of the Year
Members
of the student chapter of the American Marketing Association unanimously
voted Marketing Professor Thomas G. Mehl Teacher of the Year for 2001-02.
“It
is Professor Mehl’s unique and excellent teaching style, his care
for and dedication to the students, and his unselfish contributions
to the American Marketing Association that set him apart from the rest,”
said Jill Panetta, vice president of the student group.
Professor
Mehl has been making a difference at Ferris for 24 years. Mehl’s
students comment that he often says, “I have the best job in the
world. I never want to retire.”
In
addition to helping the AMA, Mehl has been an advisor to Ferris’
student advertising group, which is affiliated with the American Advertising
Federation.
