Ferris, Enterprise Announce Book Scholarship

Ferris State’s Office of Minority Student Affairs has announced a new scholarship funded through a generous donation from Enterprise Rent-a-Car.

The scholarship gives students of sophomore status or higher and in good academic standing funds for textbooks and other educational supplies. Recipients will be selected by the director of the Office of Minority Affairs and are eligible to receive the scholarship twice in their academic career at Ferris.

According to Enterprise Recruiting Manager Cindy Brown, Enterprise actively recruits Ferris graduates and has a number of Ferris alumni working throughout the state. Brown and General Manager and Vice President John D. Zaworski recently came to campus to present Special Assistant to the President and Director of Minority Student Affairs Raymond Gant with a check in support of the new scholarship.
