Robert Shell (P’36), Brooksville, Fla., and his wife, Thelma, recently observed their 60th wedding anniversary.

The 1950s
Tom Nichols (P’50), Scottville, Mich., has owned Nichols Drug Store in Scottville for 40 years and is semi-retired.
William Kjergaard (T’59), Largo, Fla., retired from Osceola District Schools in Kissimmee as HVACR specialist. He was the first president of Ferris’ Refrigeration Service Engineers Society.

The 1960s
John T. Moore (E’61), Kinde, Mich., retired from the Tuscola Intermediate School District, having served as superintendent for the past 13 years.
Jerry N. Hess (B’65), Shelby Twp., Mich., retired from Allstate Insurance after 34 years as an agent and agency owner.

The 1970s
Dennis Hines (B’70), Rochester Hills, Mich., a life insurance specialist for AAA Michigan, has received the Award of Excellence for outstanding sales and service performance.
Robert W. Edginton (T’71), Traverse City, Mich., joined Traverse City Products Inc., as general manager.
Robert F. Hoholek (T’72), Muskego, Wisc., was promoted to associate vice president of Investments for A.G. Edwards brokerage firm.
Kay Bowen (B’73), Rockford, Mich., has joined Tubelite Inc. of Reed City as human resources manager.
William Balkwill (E’75), Sarasota, Fla., was elected sheriff of Sarasota County.
Pat Bridson (P’75), DeWitt, Mich., and his family opened a new pharmacy in DeWitt.
Dean Otto (T’75), Grass Lake, Mich., retired from the Michigan Department of Transportation after 26 years of state surveying.
Paul Jollineau (T’76), Jenison, Mich, is manager of Electronic Commerce Operations at Kawaski.
Arnold “Chip” Weingart (T’77), Livonia, Mich, recently became an owner of Alpha 21, a pre-press/graphics design company where he has worked for 25 years.
Craig Laurent (AH’78), Traverse City, Mich, has joined Fleis & VandenBrink Engineering Inc. and will provide client services, grant and project financing services, and business development and environmental services for the Traverse City office.
Mark D. Wolfe (B’79), Adrian, Mich, has joined The Bank of Lenawee as vice president/controller.

The 1980s
Jeffrey L. Brown (E’80) is with a U.S. Marine Corps Security Battalion guarding U.S. embassies in West Africa.
Debi Turley (AS’80), Broken Arrow, Okla., recently signed an agreement to write for People Magazine. She is the magazine’s only writer in Oklahoma.
John T. Doering (T’81), Midland, Mich, has accepted the position of chief financial officer with Design Craftsmen, Inc. in Midland.
Noel Skiba VanEss (AH’82), Belmont, Mich., held a joint exhibition of artwork with her mother at the Jesse Besser Museum. Noel operates her own commercial art business and recently traveled to Trinidad and Tobago, participating in a missions trip in which she painted over 100 pieces on site.
Stephen Smithson (AH’83), Waterford, Mich, has received a master of science degree with
a concentration in Health Administration from Central Michigan University.
Bonnie Kanicki (E’84), Bridgeport, Mich., is the first assistant post commander at the state police Bridgeport post.
Amy Shaw (B’85), Brighton, Mich., recently married Steve Corby. She is a senior staffing consultant with Artemis HRC in Brighton.
Kelly Goodsel (T’87 and B’87), Corry, Penn., was named president and CEO of Viking Plastics.
Shawn Gregg (B’88), Traverse City, Mich., is now commercial lines territorial manager for the Lake State Insurance Co., a subsidiary of The Harleysville Insurance Co.
David Davis (E’89), Southgate, Mich., has been with the Southgate police department for 11 years and is currently assigned to the traffic division. He is married and has a 4-year-old daughter.
Curt McAllister (B’89), Lake Orion, Mich, was promoted to the post of vice president at John Bailey & Associates, Inc. Public Relations.

Kenneth R. Armbrustmacher (B’90), DeWitt, Mich, is now assistant manager of Auto-Owners Associates Credit Union.
Bill V. Cheplick (E’90), Trenton, Mich., is a member of the Trenton Police Dept. and has been on the SWAT team for four years in the Detroit area. He has a baby girl named Amber Rose.
Todd Schember (E’90), Elkton, Mich, was promoted to sergeant of the Huron County Sheriff’s Department.
Rick DeBow (B’91), Charlotte,
Mich., received his master’s degree in Business Administration from Tennessee State University and is working as a systems analyst and instructor at Middle Tennessee
State University.
Peter Jenkins (T’91), Mankato, Minn., was promoted to land management supervisor at the Minnesota Department of Transportation at Mankato.
Stacey McIntosh (AH’91), Houston, Texas, is director of health information management for Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital and was named president-elect of the Houston Area Health Information Management Association.
Kathleen Rennhack (B’91), Interlochen, Mich, has been selected as the senior accountant at Cherryland Online.
Julie Winquist (B’91), Green Bay, Wisc., married Michael Desotelle, also of Wisconsin.
William Lautner (T’92), Minden City, Mich., wed Sara Creech of Marquette. He is employed by Harvard Industries in Deckerville.
Deanna Scheerens (O’92), Mackinaw City, Mich., opened a new optometric practice in Mackinaw City.
Shawn Corlew (E’93), Jackson, Mich., a licensed professional counselor, has a private counseling practice in Hillsdale and also is employed as a family therapist/clinical supervisor at the Manor Foundation in Jonesville.
