Governor Ferris

W. N. Ferris entered the political arena as early as 1892, but did not seriously seek office until the election of 1912. Education was in the forefront of his concern and remained his focus throughout his political career. Ferris was inaugurated on January 1, 1913. He was elected for a second term in 1915.
