 | Annual Alumni Golf Outing
The 18th Annual Alumni Golf Outing will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008 at Hawk Hollow Golf Course Bath, Michigan. Registration includes 18 holes of world class golf, complimentary driving range and tournament apparel, buffet lunch and dinner along with exceptional raffle and proximity prizes.

 | Bulldog Softball claims regional title
The Bulldog Softball team defeated regional and national title defender Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville on May 11 to claim the GLIAC NCAA Division II championship. The Bulldogs advance to the national championship playoffs in Houston, TX for the 3rd time in the program's history.

Doctors told Jim Bourdlais was told he would never walk again after an automobile accident left him paralyzed from the neck down.  John Hare receives an honorary doctorate at Commencement on May 10
More than 1,700 students at Ferris State University were candidates for degrees this spring. The university honored these graduates in five ceremonies over two days, during which more than 1,500 students participated.
John Hare and Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick received honorary doctoral degrees. John Hare served as president of ABC Radio’s 72 stations nationwide from February 1999 until his retirement in the spring of 2007. Previously, he was group president of ABC-Owned Radio Stations since 1997. In this capacity, he was responsible for stations in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Detroit and Washington, D.C.
Now in her sixth term serving Michigan’s 13th Congressional District, U.S. Rep. Kilpatrick oversees the budgets of more than 20 governmental agencies, including the Treasury Department, National Credit Union Administration, Postal Service and the Small Business Administration. As a member of the Homeland Security Subcommittee, she helps determine funding for the Department of Homeland Security. She is also a member of the House Appropriations Committee and its newly created Financial Services Subcommittee.
