Patrick La Pine of Farmington was appointed to the Ferris Board of Trustees for an eight-year term to be served from January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2014 by Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm. La Pine is Executive Vice President of Association Services for the Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL), where he has been employed since 1999. In his position, he oversees the Governmental Affairs, Education, Public Affairs and Information Services functions of the association. Prior to joining the League, La Pine was legislative assistant to State Representative Agnes Dobronski (D-Dearborn) and community liaison for United States Senator Donald Riegle Jr. (D-MI). He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Michigan State University and a master's degree in public administration from the University of Michigan. La Pine resides in the city of Farmington with his wife, Kathy, and daughter, Madison.
