Lisa is responsible for obtaining the optimal value for materials and services for
the University. As Director she must be insured that all acquisitions are acquired according to Board Policy. Computers and computer-related components and equipment are a major focus for Lisa, in addition to academic needs and other commodities. Lisa administers vendor contracts, solicits bids and approves high-dollar purchases. Duties also include the development of polices and procedures in order to assure quality improvement as well as achieve University, department and individual goals.
Lisa is an active member of the Greater Grand Rapids Chapter of the National Association
of Purchasing Managers (NAPM) and has served on the Executive Board of the Michigan
Region of the National Association of Educational Buyers (NAEB).
